Mavericks is located 1/2 mile off shore of Pillar Point, in the small town of Princeton-by-the-Sea. The famous surf break is surrounded by homes, businesses, restaurants and the bustling Pillar Point Harbor, a working fisherman’s harbor protected by a breakwater. Nearby is the beautiful coastal trail linking Pillar Point to the stunning Ritz Carlton on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean just south of downtown Half Moon Bay. The town of Princeton has been a tourist destination since the early 1900s, when a train linked the coastal community to San Francisco.
Below are a few highlights of the area around Princeton-by-the-Sea.
